Pastor's Welcome

We are greatly delighted to welcome you to the website of the Union Foursquare Gospel Church, otherwise known as The Tabernacle of His Presence, located at 404 North Broad Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey, a branch of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. Our belief is deeply rooted in the work of mission, holding firmly to the mandate of Jesus Christ to go into the world and preach the gospel and make disciples, as seen in Matthew 28:19 - 20

At the Tabernacle of His Presence, we believe in the maximization of all our potentials for multiplied increases within the shortest possible time. We believe that God has endowed us with gifts and talents which must be used for the propagation of the gospel, upholding his virtues in his Church, and for the building of his kingdom.

For our community, we believe that our mission is to take the love and gospel of God to the men and women around us, to five life to the lifeless, hope to the hopeless, and redemption and healing to the sick and dying world. We believe that soul-winning is Christ's mandate to his people and that each believer should be able to disciple at least one person for God in a year.

We believe in cultural diversity, that the Church of Jesus Christ is meant for men and women from all places irrespective of their background, races, or level in society, coming together to worship God, as members of the same family of God (Galatians 3:28). We believe that the true Church of Jesus Christ is a family and should be a representative of Heaven here on earth, where there is no hate, racial discrimination, division, or segregation. It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us at our church to worship in the presence of the Almighty.
